One school system, open to all
Re: Disappointing vote, June 22
The decision by the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board to prevent non-Catholic parents from serving on school councils, is just a childish response to the recent and present "attacks" on the discriminatory separate school system in Ontario.
Using this "bizarre" logic, it would only make sense for the "public" boards to only allow atheists and secular humanists to serve on their school councils.
Is any of this nonsense good for society in Ontario? I think not.
No discrimination is the answer. One school system open to all is the answer.
